SUPEROOT

Teaming up with the good people at SUPEROOT I had the pleasure of illustrating the graphics that would go on their immunity drink stick packs. We worked on different compositions for the individual packs and boxes and determined the appropriate color themes in context of the flavors. We also developed promotional posters for their pop-up booths featuring hand drawn illustrations of different super roots and their benefits. (My responsibilities on this project were strictly graphic and visual)

Stick pack colors and compositions are determined in a way that would be recognizable, distinguishable, and attractive according to each flavor from a glance. Each fruit illustration has been filtered through a process of iterations to abide by the same design language while emphasizing the defining characteristics of each unique fruit.

The boxes are used for shipping but also as a means of display at retail locations. Because the boxes are the first thing that consumers see they are designed to have a consistency in color and aesthetic language to the packs so they can be recognized at a distance and at multiple angles.

The posters feature a more detailed style of illustration of each root for a more informational representation of each ingredient. These posters were on display during SUPEROOT’s pop-ups at events.

The signage for this store was designed with earth tones and botanical illustrations of coffee beans and plant to represent the down-to-earth nature of the refreshments and easy-going atmosphere of the space.

Industry City is a community located in an industrial complex in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, NY that houses food vendors, retail stores, and offices. The tenants here range from small to large with a spectrum of creative brands, international cuisines, and versatile event spaces.

I had the pleasure of creating some illustrations for the businesses here, namely Sahadi’s, a Mediterranean market, and Ends Meat, a butcher and sandwich shop.
